Memphis - National Tour

A new musical about the birth of rock 'n' roll in the turbulent 1950s.

Meet the Cast of Memphis on Tour! Leading Man Bryan Fenkart Plays the Daring DJ Huey Calhoun

The characters of the rock ‘n’ roll musical Memphis will play Cincinnati's Procter & Gamble Hall at the Aronoff Center for the Arts from January 22 through February 3. Broadway.com is delivering you the scoop on this story of white radio DJ Huey Calhoun, who wants to change the world, and a black club singer who is ready for her big break. Bryan Fenkart takes the lead as the “rebel” DJ who takes his love affair with rhythm and blues music to the white radio stations, causing a commotion in the title town. Watch what Fenkart had to say about wearing “ridiculous” clothes in the show, graduating from an understudy on Broadway to leading man on the tour and the “wholesomeness” of Huey.
