The pop culture phenomenon is now live on stage!

Get a Flashy Sneak Peek at the National Tour of Flashdance in Action

The 1983 movie Flashdance has been reworked into a new musical, currently zipping across the country in a national tour. Before this hot new show arrives at the Procter & Gamble Hall at the Aronoff Center for the Arts from October 29 through November 10, get a sneak peek at the cast in action. Sergio Trujillo directs and choreographs this inspirational story about Alex Owens, a young woman working in a Pittsburgh steel mill by day and as an exotic dancer by night, who dreams of becoming a professional ballet dancer. When Alex (Jillian Mueller) falls in love with her boss Nick Hurley (Matthew Hydzik), she gets the courage to pursue her dreams. The musical features hits from the film’s Grammy-winning soundtrack, including “Flashdance—What a Feeling,” “Maniac,” “Gloria” and 10 original songs.
