What’s New, Cincinnati? Tickets Now On Sale for the National Tour of Evita

Tickets are now on sale for the national tour of Evita in Cincinnati. The Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical will play the Procter & Gamble Hall at the Aronoff Center for the Arts from February 18 through March 2. The show stars Tony nominee Josh Young, Caroline Bowman and Sean MacLaughlin.

Evita charts the rise and fall of Eva Peron, the one-time charismatic and glamorous young First Lady of Argentina. With a score by Lloyd Webber and Rice, the musical features the songs “Buenos Aires,” “High Flying Adored” and “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina.”

The show stars Young as Che, Caroline Bowman as Eva, Sean MacLaughlin as Juan Peron, Christopher Johnstone as Magaldi, Krystina Alabado as the Mistress and Desi Oakley as the alternate Eva.

The Tony-nominated revival is directed by Michael Grandage and features choreography by Rob Ashford, scenic and costume design by Christopher Oram and lighting design by Neil Austin.
