Tickets Now on Sale for the ‘De-Lovely’ National Tour of Anything Goes in Cincinnati

Tickets are now on sale for the national tour of the Tony Award-winning revival of Anything Goes in Cincinnati. The classic musical will open on February 17, 2015 at Procter & Gamble Hall - Aronoff Center for the Arts and close on February 22.

The 1934 musical comedy, which features the music of Cole Porter, tells the story of the passengers aboard the S.S. American, a luxury cruise ship. On the voyage, etiquette and convention head out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love—proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail.

Under the direction of Sean McKnight and Jennifer Savelli (recreating the original direction and choreography by Kathleen Marshall), this Tony-winning production for Best Musical Revival features high-seas hijinks as well as the famed songs “I Get A Kick Out of You,” “You’re The Top,” “Friendship,” and “De-Lovely.”

Anything Goes features music and lyrics by Cole Porter, original book by P.G. Wodehouse, Guy Bolton, Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, and a new book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman.
