TOUR - A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder - CU - wide - 11/15

Oh, why are all the D'Ysquiths dying? The national tour of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder opens in Cincinnati on January 3. The Tony Award-winning musical will play Procter & Gamble Hall - Aronoff Center for the Arts through January 8.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder tells the uproarious story of Monty Navarro, a distant heir to a family fortune who sets out to jump the line of succession, by any means necessary. All the while, he’s got to juggle his mistress (she’s after more than just love), his fiancée (she’s his cousin but who’s keeping track?), and the constant threat of landing behind bars! Of course, it will all be worth it if he can slay his way to his inheritance…and be done in time for tea.

Directed by Tony winner Darko Tresnjak, A Gentleman's Guide features a score by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. The musical is the winner of four 2014 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Direction of a Musical, Book of a Musical and Costume Design of a Musical.

The cast of A Gentleman's Guide includes John Rapson as the D’Ysquith heirs (all eight of them), Kevin Massey as Monty Navarro, Kristen Beth Williams as Sibella Hallward, Kristen Hahn as Phoebe D’Ysquith and Jennifer Smith as Miss Shingle.
